SYLVIA NICOLAIDES

Sylvia Nicolaides received her Bachelor Fine Arts Degree from Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and her Master’s Degree in Audio-Visual Studies in the Academy of Performing Arts, in the Film and Television department (FAMU) in Prague. Her work has participated in several exhibitions and film festivals both in Cyprus and internationally and won several awards. She is one of the co-founders of Kimonos Art Center in Cyprus and is the co-founder/director of the Paphos International Film Festival (PIFF).

Η Σύλβια Νικολαΐδου πήρε το πτυχίο Καλών Τεχνών από το Chelsea College of Art and Design στο Λονδίνο και το μεταπτυχιακό της απο το τμήμα Οπτικοακουστικής (Audio Visual) στην Ακαδημία Παρασταστικών Τεχνών, στο τμήμα Κινηματογράφου και Τηλεόρασης (FAMU) στην Πράγα. Η δουλειά της έχει συμμετάσχει σε πολλές εκθέσεις και φεστιβάλ κινηματογράφου ανά τον κόσμο και κέρδισε αρκετά βραβεία. Είναι ένας από τους συνιδρυτές του Κέντρου Τεχνών Κίμωνος στην Κύπρο, καθώς και συνιδρυτής και οργανωτής του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου της Πάφου (PIFF).
